Guwahati: The Ganesh Mandir Indoor Stadium will host the Guwahati District Karate Championship in 2022, the Karate Association of Guwahati said on Friday.
The championship’s second edition will take place on August 27 and 28.
The competition will be inaugurated by Diganta Kalita, president of the Assam State Karate Association, and other dignitaries. According to national media, 1,166 athletes will compete in the Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior, and Senior categories of the Kata and Kumite events.
