Guwahati, 28th December:In a devastating incident in Boragaon, Guwahati, Banjit Das (42) lost his life on Thursday due to critical injuries sustained during an attack at his residence. The assault, which also claimed the life of his daughter, occurred on Wednesday, prompting Das’s admission to Excel Care Hospital and later transfer to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for brain surgery.
Despite medical efforts, Das suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away during treatment. The Garchuk Police, investigating the case, have taken four individuals into custody, including the deceased’s brother, a driver, and two laborers, who are currently undergoing questioning in connection with this tragic incident.
