Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday in Guwahati lay the foundation stone for a multi-utility complex on the residential grounds of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
The complex will be constructed for 14 crores of rupees.
For the convenience of the inhabitants and their visitors, the multi-utility complex will feature a small hospital with an ambulance service, a department shop, a canteen, a gym, etc.
Speaker of the Assam Legislative Assembly Biswajit Daimary, Deputy Speaker Dr. Numal Momin, Minister Pijush Hazarika, and other MLAs were present with CM Sarma.
