Guwahati: The Government Railway Police (GRP) on January 27 seized 9 kilograms of suspected ganja from two passengers aboard the New Delhi Rajdhani Express (Train No. 12423 DN).
The operation took place at Guwahati Railway Station’s Platform No. 1 during a routine inspection around 7:40 am.
The contraband, packed in 13 packets, was found in the possession of the two passengers, who were detained for further questioning.
The GRP has initiated an investigation to trace the source and intended destination of the seized drugs.
