Guwahati: In a sensation incident, a labourer died after falling from an under-construction building in Jalukbari area of Guwahati on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at the construction site of Swasteek Samriddhi apartment.
The deceased labourer has been identified as Sanidul Ali was a resident of Barpeta.
According to reports, Ali fell from eight floor of the under-construction building and died.
It is claimed that Ali fell from the building and died because there were no safety precautions taken for the labourers working at the construction site.
The construction site workers also claimed that their contractor hired minors to work there.
Following the allegations, Jalukbari Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
