Guwahati: In yet another horrific incident, a 14-year-old teenager was sexually assaulted at her residence in Guwahati on Wednesday.
Moreover, a man has been booked in connection to the crime.
The incident took place near Nabajyoti Club in Hengerabari area.
As per reports, the heinous act occurred when no one was at home and the accused took advantage of the time.
An individual by the name of Mridul Talukdar is accused of committing the crime.
The family of the deceased has filed a FIR with the Dispur Police Station in relation to the crime.
Meanwhile, the accused Mridul Talukdar is absconding after perpetrating the crime.
