Guwahati: A man allegedly died after being brutally lynched by an enraged mob at Adagudam in the Lal Ganesh area of Guwahati,.
The victim have been identified as Sunil Sharma who was lynched by an angry mob of onlookers for reasons that are still unknown.
He was saved from the mob’s grasp by police officers on the scene who then took him to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for treatment.
As per reports, Sunil was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt in the interim to find those accused and further investigation is ongoing.
