Guwahati, 6th February: In a tragic incident at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati, a man from Pune, identified as Sanjeev Suresh, met a fatal end while attempting to delete intimate photos from his cellphone. Guwahati Police Commissioner Diganta Barah addressed the media in a press conference, shedding light on the disturbing sequence of events that led to the untimely demise.
Sanjeev Suresh, a businessman in the car and jewelry industry, became ensnared in a lethal deception after developing a relationship with Anjali, despite her existing commitment to Vikas Shaw. Despite Sanjeev’s persistent efforts to deepen their bond, Anjali remained loyal to Vikas, prompting Sanjeev to resort to desperate measures.
Sanjeev’s ill-fated decision to send intimate photos of their encounters to Vikas in a bid to sabotage their impending marriage proved catastrophic. The situation escalated when Vikas and Anjali orchestrated a confrontation with Sanjeev at the Radisson Blu Hotel, where they had booked separate rooms on adjacent floors.
Anjali facilitated Vikas’s entry into their room, setting the stage for a violent altercation that resulted in Sanjeev sustaining fatal injuries at the hands of Vikas. Despite their initial intention to incapacitate Sanjeev and delete the incriminating photos, the situation spiraled out of control, leading to tragic consequences.
In a misguided attempt to evade accountability, Vikas and Anjali sought to flee the scene, falsely alerting hotel staff to Sanjeev’s condition before making their escape. However, their plans were thwarted as law enforcement apprehended them en route to the airport. The police have since seized the victim’s cellphone along with those belonging to the accused as part of their investigation into the chilling incident.
