Guwahati: A man tragically died from electrocution after coming into contact with high tension wire at Mirza in the outskirts of Guwahati on Sunday.
According to reports, the deceased was a Mirza Electricity Division employee who worked in electrical repair.
Meanwhile, the deceased has been identified as Lav Das. He apparently died after coming into contact with a high-voltage wire while performing some routine maintenance tasks.
Police informed that Das was climbing a power pole when he got in contact with a live wire and was instantly electrocuted and died.
