Guwahati, 1st March: In a tragic incident on Friday morning, another case of alleged suicide emerged as a man was found hanging inside his house in Guwahati’s Pandu area.
The deceased, identified as Mansur Alam, purportedly took the extreme step due to a love affair gone awry.
Sources indicate that Mansur was involved in a relationship with Bidhan Baruah, a transgender individual.
However, their union was marred by turmoil, with Mansur allegedly enduring mental anguish inflicted by Baruah over an extended period.
Furthermore, Baruah reportedly exerted pressure on Mansur for marriage and even filed a complaint with the local police, accusing Mansur of rape.
As the Jalukbari police commence the grim task of recovering the body for post-mortem examination, an investigation has been initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
