Guwahati: A fire reportedly gutted in the parking lot of a building in Christian Basti area of Guwahati on Saturday destroying a number of vehicles.
An unprecedented fire started in the parking lot of the Silver Square building this morning.
Information indicates that the fire initially erupted inside a vehicle that was undergoing maintenance.
The blaze then quickly spread to other vehicles parked in the vicinity, gutting them completely.
According to reports, the fire destroyed vehicles worth lakhs.
Soon after, fire tenders arrived on the scene and efforts are on to douse the fire.
