Guwahati, 30th November: In a disturbing incident, the lifeless body of a young woman was discovered under mysterious circumstances in Guwahati’s Hatigaon area on Thursday. The deceased, identified as Rwitika Sonar from Meghalaya’s Nongpoh, was reportedly found dead on the streets.
Rwitika, a student at the Jettwings institute, met an untimely demise, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding her death. Following the discovery of her body, the police swiftly detained a youth suspected to be her ‘lover.’ The detained individual, identified as Rupesh Rai from West Bengal, was allegedly in a live-in relationship with Rwitika.
Rupesh Rai, employed at a private company, is currently under police custody as investigations into the incident unfold. The nature of their relationship and the events leading to Rwitika’s tragic death remain subjects of intense scrutiny as authorities work to uncover the truth.
