Guwahati, 20th November: In a commendable operation, the Guwahati Police Crime Branch successfully rescues a 6-year-old boy abducted by bike-borne miscreants on November 20. The kidnapping unfolded in Sijubari’s Kanaklata Path, under Hatigaon Police Station’s jurisdiction, where the child was lured with a toy by miscreants on a motorcycle without a number plate.
Promptly launching an investigation, authorities anticipated a ransom call, which, fortunately, did not materialize. The child is now undergoing rehabilitation, marking a swift and effective response by the police in securing the youngster’s safe return. Further details on the rescue operation are awaited.
