Guwahati: Guwahati Police seized about 1.850 kgs of suspected Cannabis (ganja) from Kamrup Metro District of Assam on Wednesday.
An East Guwahati Police Department (EGPD) team from Khetri Police Station (PS) also arrested two people into the connection.
The arrestees have been identified as Afzal Ahmed and Alzar Hussain. Both of them are residents of Karimganj.

An EGPD team from Khetri PS arrested 2 persons, namely Afzal Ahmed & Alzar Hussain, both hailing from Karimganj. A total of 1.850 KG of Ganja was recovered from their possession.
Legal action has been initiated.
