Guwahati: The Guwahati police on Tuesday morning in its continued war against drugs has seized huge amount of drugs from Gorchuk area.
The police seized the drugs while it was being brought from Tripura in a truck.
A whopping 500kg of Manipuri ganja have been seized during an operation against drugs.
Police also arrested four persons in connection to it. They have been identified as Manish Kumar, Dinabandhu Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Nabin Kumar, all hailing from Bihar.
The cost of seized ganja is worth approximately Rs 3.5 crores in the international market.
Further investigation into the case is on.
