Guwahati, 29th March: In a startling development, the lifeless body of a security guard, identified as Krishna Sharma (52), was discovered under enigmatic circumstances within the storage house of the Additional Director of Health Services office premises in the Patharquarry area of the city.
Sharma, who had reported for duty from his residence in Noonmati the previous evening, was found deceased in the security guard’s office at 10 am on Friday, sending shockwaves through the community. Prompt action was taken by authorities, with the Noonmati police station being immediately notified, and police personnel swiftly arriving at the scene to retrieve the body.
Upon inspection, authorities observed foam and nose bleeding from Sharma’s mouth, fueling suspicions of foul play and raising concerns of a premeditated murder among family members.
Given the perplexing circumstances surrounding Sharma’s demise, the police have initiated a case and launched an investigation into the matter. The body has been transferred to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for further examination through a postmortem procedure, as authorities work diligently to unravel the mystery behind the tragic incident.
