Guwahati: In a horrific road incident, a speeding car struck a bike rider at Sector 3 in Guwahati, Assam which resulted in a death of a bike rider on Wednesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Khaleq Malik who was a resident of Chaygaon.
Eyewitnesses claim that the intoxicated driver of an Ignis with the licence plate AS 01 FH 0211 lost control and hit the motorcycle from behind.
Meanwhile, two persons on the car were allegedly injured and they have been admitted at the Gate Hospital for treatment.
The police arrived at the scene after being informed about the incident. In this regard, a case has been registered.
