Guwahati: Guwahati Police busted a teer racket in the city and arrested two persons in the connection.
The two arrestees were identified as Bijoy Deb (40) of Bengali Basti & Bipul Dey (32). Both are the residents of Natun Bazaar.
During the search the police officials recovered Teer tickets, an incriminating register, and Rs 25,280 cash from their possession.
Moreover, the police seized three mobile phones from the accused.
It may be mentioned that legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
