Guwahati: Guwahati Police busted a teer racket and arrested six persons in the connection.
The arrestees were identified as Bhupen Saikia, Jayanta Saikia, Rupam Basumotary, Rajen Das, Rakesh Kalita and Md Asraful Islam.
Police officials from the Noonmati Police Station in the city launched a search operation inside a shop at Gopal Nagar and recovered a cash amount of total Rs 34,610.
Moreover, a total number of six mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
