Guwahati, 6th November: A startling incident of theft has occurred within Guwahati’s Basistha Police Station, leading to the disappearance of various belongings and valuables belonging to the police officials.
Preliminary reports suggest that the theft is suspected to have been carried out by an individual from within the police station itself.
Following the incident, the affected police officials filed an official complaint with the Basistha Police Station.
Sub-inspector Tirtha Deka has been assigned to lead the investigation into this theft case based on the complaint filed by SI Dhyanjyoti.
