Guwahati: Guwahati is all set to host the first Bangladesh Film Festival on February 24, 2022. The film festival will be held at Hotel Vivanta in Khanapara.
The festival has been organised for rejoicing the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden Jubilee of Independence of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

It may be mentioned that Hasan Mahmud, MP Minister, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Parimal Suklabaidya, Department of Excise, Forest & Environment and Fisheries, Government of Assam will be present at the occasion as the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor respectively.
