Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, two suspected drug pedllers has been arrested by the Guwahati Police on Thursday.
The arrestees identified as Rajesh Dey of Rail Gate and Buduea Chouhan of Uzanbazar.
According to reports, the duo were arrested on specific inputs.
Reportedly, they were arrested from the No2 Gate in the Fancy Bazar area of the city.
Meanwhile, police officials recovered a total of 2.5grams drugs, 21vials and two syringes from their possession.
Moreover, the officials also seized an amount of Rs 1200 from the duo.
It may be mentioned that an legal proceedings have been initiated and further investigation is underway.
