Guwahati: Two Govt. schools declared containment zones
Guwahati: Two Government schools have been announced as containment zones after witnessing the increasing number of COOVID- 19 cases in the area on Thursday.
According to reports, Garigaon Balika Moktab and Kamakhya High School, the government schools were declared containment zones by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s special vigilance office.
The decision was taken keeping in view the people’s health in these locations.
However, no COVID -19 positive cases were found among the students of the schools yet.
It was further reported that at least three teachers at the Garigaon school tested positive and the headmaster who tested positive at the Kamakhya school stays at the campus.
Earlier, on Wednesday the CM’s special vigilance cell office in Rupnagar was placed under containment due to COVID-19 positive cases.
