Guwahati: Guwahati police arrested three fraudsters including a women for allegedly looting money from people.
The arrestees have been identified as Nikita Tiyari of Rehabari, Jyotisman Lahkar of Geetanagar and Rajesh Mandal hailing from Nagaland.
Reportedly, three culprits have been arrested from the Odalbakra area in Guwahati.
According to the accusations made against the three individuals, they had been robbing numerous people for a considerable amount of time.
Nikita is being held at the Pan Bazar Women’s Police Station and the Bhangagarh Police is in charge of the two accused teenagers.
According to reports, Nikita was reportedly involved in a mobile theft case which was registered at the Paltan Bazaar Police Station. She had been robbing people of huge sums of money under the guise of working for the real estate industry.
Further investigation is underway.
