Guwahati: Woman injured in leopard attack in Pandu

Guwahati: Man-animal conflicts are one of the most crucial issues in Assam and almost every day one such case is reported.

In a sensational incident, a woman was attacked by a leopard at Pandu in Guwahati.

The woman has been identified as Manju Bhattacharyya.

According to reports, the leopard was hiding in a railway station in Pandu.

Meanwhile, locals informed the forest department, but authorities from the department have yet to arrive to the scene to save the leopard.

The leopard has been terrorising the neighbourhood for over an hour, but forest department officers have yet to arrive.

It needs to be noted that the leopard is still roaming the area, causing concern among the locals.
