Hand Grenade, Threat Letter Found Outside Manipur Snacks Maker’s Office
Imphal: A hand grenade and a threatening note were discovered outside the office of Kangla Food, a prominent snacks manufacturer, in Manipur’s Bishnupur district on Tuesday morning.
The alarming discovery was made around 6:30 AM near the company’s office in Nambol. Upon noticing the suspicious object, the company’s staff promptly alerted the local police.
Police authorities arrived at the scene and safely seized the hand grenade. The accompanying note contained a chilling message: “No more warning after this. We have been waiting for your calls for many months.”
Law enforcement officials believe the threat is linked to extortion attempts. A case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators and their motives.
