Health Minister Naba Das of Odisha passes away in the hospital

Digital Desk: Naba Das, the minister of health for the state of Odisha, was shot at in the Jharsuguda district’s Brajarajnagar, and he passed away today from his wounds in a hospital in Bhubaneswar, according to officials.

The Minister was taken to the Apollo Hospital in Bhubaneswar, where he passed away despite reports that he was in a critical condition.

Das was fired at by a police officer earlier today in the Jharsuguda district near Brajarajnagar, where he later suffered grave injuries.

He was treated and operated on right away by a group of medical professionals led by Dr. Debashish Nayak

During surgery, it was discovered that a single bullet had entered and exited the body, wounding the left lung and heart as well as causing severe internal bleeding, according to the authorities.

Officials claim that the wounds were fixed and that actions were taken to enhance the heart’s pumping. He received immediate ICU treatment. But despite their best attempts, they were unable to revive him, and he died from his wounds.

Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister, expressed his shock and sorrow at the tragic passing of Minister Naba Das.

“He was an asset for both the Govt and the party. His death is a great loss to the State of Odisha,” Odisha CMO said.
