Heartwarming Act of Compassion: Madhya Pradesh Police Constable Revives Unconscious Snake

National Desk, 26th October: A police constable in Madhya Pradesh has won the admiration of animal lovers and social media users alike after his remarkable act of compassion. Constable Atul Sharma displayed immense care and humanity by performing CPR on an unconscious snake that had been exposed to pesticide-laced toxic water in a rescue operation.

A video capturing Constable Sharma administering mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to the snake is making waves on social media. The snake, identified as a non-poisonous ‘dhaman’ or rat snake, was initially lifeless but began to respond and inflate as Sharma breathed air into its windpipe.

The heartwarming incident unfolded after residents of Tawa Colony in Narmadapuram sought help when a snake entered their home. In the process of trying to remove the snake, it inadvertently entered a pipe. In a desperate attempt to eliminate the snake, pesticide was introduced into the pipe, rendering the snake unconscious.

Constable Atul Sharma arrived at the scene and, displaying his compassion and quick thinking, immediately took the snake to safety and gently washed away the toxic substance. Timely intervention and resuscitation, regained consciousness and eventually the snake slithered away to safety.
