Himachal Pradesh: 6 workers charred to death in factory blast
Shimla (Himachal Pradesh): At least six workers were charred to death and around 12 got injured in an explosion in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
According to reports, the incident took place at a factory in the Una district of the state. The factory is located in the Bathu industrial area of Una.
The injured were immediately rushed to a hospital in Una for treatment. Among the victims, most of them are believed to be migrant labourers.
Meanwhile, the fire department, police personnel, and other district officials reached the spot to take stock of the matter.
In the factory, reportedly firecrackers were being made.
An amount of Rs 2 lakh has been announced by the Prime minister’s Office to the next kin of the deceased.
