‘Hindu Rashtra’ With Varanasi As Capital Could Soon Be Reality: Report

Guwahati: Varanasi is to be the country’s capital rather than Delhi, according to a draught of the ‘Constitution of India as a Hindu Nation’ prepared by a group of seers and scholars.

As per reports, the draught will be presented at the ‘Dharam Sansad,’ an annual gathering of extreme religious views, during the Magh Mela next year.

Earlier in February, the Dharam Sansad passed a resolution to make India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ with its own constitution.

Under the patronage of Shambhavi Peethadheeshwar, a group of 30 people, including President of the Varanasi-based Shankaracharya Parishad Swaroop, Hindu Rashtra Nirman Samiti chief Kamleshwar Upadhyay, senior Supreme Court lawyer BN Reddy, defence expert Anand Vardhan, Sanatan Dharma scholar Chandramani Mishra, and World Hindu Federation president Ajay Singh.

The ‘Hindu Rashtra’ constitution will contain 750 pages and discussions and debates with religious scholars and experts of different fields will be held extensively, Swaroop said.

Varanasi-based Shankaracharya Parishad Swaroop added that the constitution of the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ will be 750 pages long, with extensive discussions and debates with religious scholars and experts from various fields.

According to Swaroop, half of the 300-page constitution will be released at the upcoming Magh Mela at Prayagraj’s ‘Dharam Sansad.

A proposal to establish a “Parliament of Religions” in Kashi (Varanasi) is included in this constitution.

According to the constitution, people of other religious faiths will be barred from voting, but they will have all the rights of a common citizen, and every caste will have the facility and security to live in the country, according to Swaroop.

The Gurukul education system will be revived, and education in Ayurveda, mathematics, nakshatra, Bhu-garbha, astrology, and other subjects will be provided, he said.
