Shillong: A recent hit-and-run accident at Anjalee Point in Meghalaya has claimed the life of a young teenager from Shillong’s Mawbah area.
The incident occurred on the evening of November 24, when the victim was riding a two-wheeler and was struck by a car that fled the scene.
According to the Meghalaya police, an investigation into the matter has been launched, and efforts are being made to apprehend the culprit. This incident comes on the heels of another hit-and-run accident near the ICAR main gate in Umiam, Meghalaya, on November 15, which sparked widespread public outrage.
