HS Results 2023: Highest Pass Percentage Recorded in Which District? Check Here.

Guwahati, 6 June: The much awaited Higher Secondary (HS) exam results were declared by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) on Tuesday.

A total of 3,29,902 students appeared for the exam across the state out of which 2,40,431 students passed.

The Arts Stream as a whole had a 70.12 pass percent. The highest pass percentage was 90.74 percent in the Dhemaji district with Sivasagar and Nalbari districts following closely behind with 88.83 and 86.84 percent, respectively.

The Science stream had an overall 84.96 pass percent. The highest pass percentage was 95.69 percent in the Baksa district. With 94.80 percent, Sivasagar came in second followed by Nalbari with 94.61 percent.

The overall pass rate for the Commerce stream was 79.57 percent. West Karbi Anglong district came out on top of the list with 97.18 percent followed by South Salmara and Nalbari with 94.44 and 96.71  percent, respectively.

While this was going on, in the Arts Stream, 95,660 students received third positions, 28,651 students received first positions and 58,869 students received second positions. 5,254 students in the Commerce stream bagged first division, 6,486 students second division and 4,505 students bagged third division. 18,868 students in the Science stream received first division, 16,455 students received second division and 4,082 students bagged third division.
