Guwahati: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination for 2023 would take place from March 3 to March 24. (SEBA), according to the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
The Board announced that the practical exam would be held on February 24 and 25.
It also stated that the format of the question papers for the subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science would differ. 50 percent of the questions will be of the objective variety, worth one mark each and the remaining 50 percent will be of the descriptive variety.
The examinations will be held in 912 centres across the state out of which there will be 9 new centres.
The candidates will be permitted for usage of only black or blue pens.
The exam has so far attracted a total of 1,093,000 applicants and the registration deadline is December 15, 2022.
However, the board has forbidden registration for those applicants who failed the midterm test.
