Guwahati: Security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
Two suspects have also been arrested in connection to the case.
Based on specific input, Indian Army along with Jammu Kashmir Police recovered the arms and ammunition in a cordon-and-search operation.
During search, 02xAK Rifles and war-like stores were recovered.
“On receipt of specific input, the area was cordoned and searches were conducted. 02 suspects were apprehended. 02xAK Rifles and war-like stores recovered,” said Army officials.
