IIM Shillong’s BLS 2024 and Governor’s Cup: A Perfect Fore for Future-Ready Leaders
Shillong, Meghalaya: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong concluded its prestigious Business Leadership Summit (BLS) 2024 and the Governor’s Cup on December 1st, solidifying its position as a leader in shaping future-proof business leaders.
Held in association with the 15th edition of IIM Shillong Golf Season, the three-day event brought together industry stalwarts like Chandra Shekhar Ghosh (Founder, Bandhan Bank), Nirmit Mohan (Mastercard), and Rudranil Sarkar (EY-Parthenon) to explore critical business challenges and solutions.
Themed “Building a Future-Ready India,” the BLS 2024 kicked off with an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Ghosh, who emphasized the importance of “PHD” – Patience, Hard Work, and Determination – for aspiring leaders. Over 125 participants honed their strategic thinking and decision-making under pressure, mirroring the demands of business leadership, on the picturesque Shillong Golf Course – Asia’s largest natural course.
