Guwahati, 3rd November: A tragic accident occurred on the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, resulting in the unfortunate death of a student. The incident occurred while the student was riding his bicycle on the campus.
After the accident, the student was swiftly transferred to a private medical facility, but, sadly, he succumbed to his injuries. The victim, identified as Ankit Singh, was a resident of the Barak Hostel at IIT Guwahati. Originally from Rajasthan, he had recently joined the institution for his education.
Upon this tragic incident, the family members of the deceased student were promptly informed, adding to the sorrowful nature of the event.
