During the next 24 hours, it will move north westwards and intensify into a severe cyclonic storm (wind speeds of 118 to 220 km/h) across the east-central Bay of Bengal.
It will then proceed north westwards till Tuesday evening, reaching west-central and adjacent northwest Bay of Bengal off the coastlines of North Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
Following that, it may recurve north-northeastwards and head into the northwest Bay of Bengal off the coast of Odisha.
