Increase in Allowance for Manipur Police Commando and State Forces in Vulnerable Areas

Northeast Desk, 23rd February: The 10th and 12th IRB teams from Manipur, presently undergoing training at the Lachit Borphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, Assam, showcased a remarkable martial arts demonstration.

Manipur CM Biren Singh expressed his admiration, stating, “It’s commendable to witness the martial arts demonstration by the Manipur 10th and 12th IRB teams currently training at the Lachit Borphukan Police Academy in Dergaon, Assam! In recent developments, the Manipur cabinet has approved a raise in the allowance for the Manipur Police Commando and other state forces deployed in vulnerable areas.

Effective immediately, the allowance for Manipur Police Commandos will increase by Rs 5000. Similarly, other state forces stationed in vulnerable areas will receive an increment of Rs 3000.

Manipur CM announced through his official handle, “The state Cabinet has sanctioned an increment in the allowance for our courageous Manipur Police Commando and other state forces deployed in vulnerable areas. The allowance for Manipur Police Commandos will be raised by Rs 5000, while other state forces in vulnerable zones will see an increase of Rs 3000.”
