India Extends Ban on International Flights
Guwahati: Ban on the International flights extended till 30 October by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on 28 September.
However, the DGCA clarified that the ban will not be applicable for international cargo and all cargo flights have been approved by the DGCA.
DGCA further stated that the international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on case to case basis, the notice further added.
It may be mentioned that in order to combat the COVID-19 situation in India, the government had banned the commercial international flights in March, 2020.
