Guwahati: India has reported 16,299 new covid-19 cases while 1,25,076 cases decreased on Thursday.
According to reports, the Union Health Ministry on Thursday show that the overall number of cases is currently 4,42,06,996.
The death toll increased to 5,26,879 with 53 new fatalities, four of which Kerala reconciled.
According to the ministry, the national Covid-19 recovery rate was 98.53 percent, while the active cases make about 0.28 percent of all infections.
Reportedly, 19,539 infection recoveries were recorded in the past 24hours, bringing the overall number of recoveries to 4,35,35,610.
However, On May 4 and June 24 of last year, the nation passed the depressing two and three crore mark. On January 25 of this year, it surpassed the four-crore threshold.
