Guwahati: India reported 10,256 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the country’s active caseload has gone down to 90,707.
The new cases were detected as a result of 4,22,322 tests that conducted in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative count to 88.43 crores.
Reportedly, the overall mortality toll from COVID-19 in India has now reached to 5,27,556.
Moreover, the number of recoveries from Covid-19 increased to 13,528 after 4,37,70,913 recoveries from India were registered in the previous day.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is currently 0.20%, and the recovery rate is 98.61%. Weekly optimism is 3.20 percent, compared to a daily positivity rate of 2.43 percent.
However, 211.13 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country for the Covid-19 vaccine, with 31,60,292 doses being registered in the past day as part of the widespread vaccination campaign.
