Guwahati: India reported 16,561 new covid -19 cases in the last 24 hours while taking the country’s active cases to 1,23,535 and taking the death toll rise to 5,26,928.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), a total of 3,25,081 cases were detected in the last 24 hours and taking the cumulative count to 87.95 crores.
Reportedly, the recovery rate from covid-19 in India were recorded 18,053 in the last 24 hours while taking the recovery rate to 4,35,73,094.
Additionally, there are currently 0.28 percent of active cases, and the recovery rate is 98.53 percent. Both the daily and weekly positive rates are 5.44 and 4.88 percent, respectively.
However, with 17,72,441 doses provided in the previous 24 hours as part of the state-wide immunisation effort, the country has now received a total of 207.47 crore doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
