Guwahati: India reported 5,076 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday while bringing the total to 4,44,95,359.
According to the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, the number of active cases decreased to 47, 945.
The death toll increased by 11 people, bringing it to 5,28,150 overall.
According to the government, the national Covid-19 recovery rate improved to 98.71%, and the active cases make up 0.11 percent of all infections.
In the last 24 hours, there has been a decrease of 905 cases in the active COVID-19 caseload.
The number of participants in India’s Covid-19 had surpassed 20 lakh on August 7, 2020, 30 lakh on August 23, 40 lakh on September 5, and 50 lakh on September 16. It exceeded the 60 lakh threshold on September 28, the 70 lakh threshold on October 11, the 80 lakh threshold on October 29, the 90 lakh threshold on November 20, and the 1 crore threshold on December 19.
