Guwahati: India reports 8,813 fresh cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours taking the lowest daily count in the last 63 days, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) informed.
As per reports, the country’s active caseload has also gone down to 1,11,252 and a total of 2,12,129 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours while taking the cumulative count to 88.06 crores.
Reportedly, 15,040 recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 4,36,38,844. And the rise in cumulative death toll due ti covid-19 rose to 5,27,098.
Notably, the current recovery rate is 98.56%, and there are 0.25 percent ongoing cases. The weekly positivity rate is 4.79 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 4.15%.
As of right now, 208.31 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country for the Covid-19 vaccine, with 6,10,863 doses being given in the last day as part of the widespread vaccination campaign.
