Guwahati: India reported 10,725 fresh cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), taking the country’s active caseload down to 94,047.
As per reports, the new cases were discovered as a result of 3,92,837 tests that were completed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 88.39 crores.
Reportedly, the overall mortality toll from COVID-19 in India has now reached to 5,27,488.
Moreover, the number of recoveries from Covid-19 increased to 4,37,57,385 after 13,084 recoveries from India were registered in the previous day.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is currently 0.21%, and the recovery rate is 98.60%. Weekly optimism is 3.20 percent, compared to a daily positivity rate of 2.73 percent.
However, 210.82 crore vaccine doses have been administered across the country for the Covid-19 vaccine, with 23,50,665 doses being delivered in the past day as part of the widespread vaccination campaign.
