Guwahati: India has reported 4,858 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours and 18 fatalities caused due to virus.
According to the Union Health Ministry, there are 48,027 active cases in the nation, and there have been 5,28,355 deaths.
As of right now, the daily positivity rate is 1.96 percent, and active cases make up 0.11 percent of the overall infection.
The percentage of the nation that has recovered has climbed to 98.71.
Meanwhile, the nationwide vaccination campaign has so far provided 216.70 crore doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
