Guwahati: India reported 5,439 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), the number of daily cases was 28% lower than the day before.
According to reports, the nation’s active caseload has also dropped significantly to 65,732.
The latest cases were discovered from 3,20418 tests that were completed in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to 88.55 crores.
Moreover, the total number of deaths caused by COVID-19 in India has now reached 5,27,829.
In addition, 22,031 Covid-19 recoveries from India were noted in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to 4,38,25,024.
Notably, the percentage of active cases is now 0.15 and the recovery rate is 98.66. The weekly positivity rate is 2.64 percent, while the daily positivity rate is 1.70%.
With 26,36,224 doses distributed in the previous 24 hours as part of the national vaccination push, the country has now received 212.17 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
