Guwahati: The nation has seen 265 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, according to a statement released on Sunday by the ministry of health and family affairs. In addition, 1,209 Covid cases were recovered in the previous day, raising the recovery percentage to 98.8%.
According to data from the ministry, India now has 2,706 active cases with a daily positive rate of 0.17 percent.
The authorities reported that a total of 220.10 billion vaccination doses including 95.13 billion second doses and 22.40 billion precautionary ones have been given up to this point. There have been up to 64,239 dosages given in the last 24 hours.
India reported 226 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours on Saturday, with a daily positive rate of 0.12%, according to information provided to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India reported 243 new cases of the coronavirus on Friday.
All international travellers to India from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand will be required to submit a report on the Air Suvidha portal before departure and submit a mandatory RT-PCR test starting on January 1, 2023, according to sources in the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.
