US President Donald Trump in his another Presidential Debate said that countries like India, Russia and China doesn’t care about air quality but America and his governance does. Donald Trump defended his decision to withdrew from the Paris climate accord and termed air of India, Russia and China as ‘filthy’.
Donald Trump in the Presidential Debate said “Look at China, how filthy it is. Look at Russia. Look at India. The air is filthy. I walked out of the Paris Accord as we had to take out trillions of dollars and we were treated very unfairly.” Trump also showed his concern over COVID situation in India and alleged that India doesn’t show correct data and cases are much higher here than in US.
India is the fourth highest emitter of carbon dioxide in the world, accounting for 7 per cent of global emissions in 2017.
