India women’s cricket team to tour Bangladesh in July

Sports Desk, 17 June: The Indian women’s cricket team will be back on the international circuit through a Bangladesh tour for the white ball series against Bangladesh in July next year.

This will be the first international series for the Indian women’s team after it lost to Australia in the semi-finals of Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa last February.

The white ball series between India and Bangladesh will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, after a gap of 11 years. Last time Bangladesh women’s team played in this stadium against South Africa in 2012.

Bangladesh Cricket Board women’s wing president Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel said the team will face the Indian women’s national cricket team in a series in July.

According to reports, the Indian team will arrive in Dhaka on July 6 to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The T20I matches will be played on July 9, 11 and 13 July. On the other hand, three ODIs will be played on July 16, 19 and 22 July.

There has been a lot of enthusiasm among sports lovers about this series of Indian teams against Bangladesh.
Members of the Indian women’s team recently attended a training camp at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru where Indian men’s team head coach Rahul Dravid and academy head VVS Laxman interacted with them.
